You can activate Bixby Voice by saying, “Hey, Bixby.” Alternatively, you can hold down the Bixby button while giving commands. You can also provide commands by holding your phone in the way you answer a phone call. With Bixby Voice, you can perform various tasks like sending a text message, basic queries on weather, upcoming meetings, movies, etc. Along with that, Bixby Voice works across your Samsung smartphone’s dialler, camera, contacts, gallery, etc. Bixby Voice can perform complicated tasks like fixing the misaligned photos, car parking details, launching an application in a split-screen view, composing emails, etc. The voice assistant can perform dual actions, read out the latest messages, take a selfie, etc. Bixby Voice can be easily customized, and you can set a single word or phrase to perform specific tasks. Bixby Voice supports over 3000 commands.
You can customize Bixby Home by altering pin cards by clicking on the two lines in the Bixby Home card’s upper right corner. You can also eliminate it by swiping it right, hide it and dismiss it forever. You get most of the Bixby’s home content from default applications. You can see the local weather forecast, activity statistics, and local music files. You can also pull out the data from Google Calendar and Gmail. Other than that, you can also access various third-party applications. You can easily control light bulbs, door locks, and shortcuts to the frequently used applications.
To launch Bixby Vision, open your phone’s camera or use the Bixby Vision icon on the camera interface’s upper left corner. Bixby Vision identifies various objects like a place, text, food, QR codes, food, etc. The Bixby Vision recognizes the item in front of your camera and provides information about it. The Bixby Vision opens in Text Mode by default, which enables you to choose your preferred language. Capture the text you want to translate, and it will give you a real-time translation of the text. Bixby Vision also uses FourSquare to recognize landmarks and different locations amid your way. With its Food tool, you can get information on calories and other nutritional information.
